    Where networking is king

(This is a question but a bit of a rant, I would appreciate constructive comments and shared grievances and not being told off) I've often wondered about this networking... I have and will probably never be good at it. I'm relieved that I've heard some make...

Opinions on the Fox series La’s Finest?

I had my tv on for background noise yesterday, and I saw Gabrielle Union & Jessica Alba on my screen and I decided to give it a watch. They’re seasoned actresses so maybe I could learn a thing or two, or even find a scene I could one day do. However as I...

Do I have a chance to be a big action actor?

I am a teen but have always loved movies. Particularly action movies, which I have seen almost all of. I like modern big budget ones, but my favorites are the 80s badass action movies. I like corny ones, and big budget ones. The thing is that i dont have the...

How do you get back back on the horse?

So I studied on a pretty good Acting course at University a few years ago, then I kind of lost my way and confidence in acting. i went back to work in a kitchen and forgot all about acting. About 2/3 years ago I decided to put my degree to some use and I...

I just finished my first paid voice acting role!

I got hired to do voice acting for the game Filmmaker Tycoon on Steam. It was so much fun to do and I got to try a bunch of different roles at once (I was playing an actor that would get hired to do different roles)! I am hoping that this isn't just a one...

    Agency Advice

Hi there. I'm a non-union mid-20s actress. I was just offered to sign with Aqua Talent commercially. I was also offered Angel City commercially, and across-the-board as soon as I get SAG-E. Since Aqua is a top 10 commercial agency, I'm torn. Any advice?

Should I list "acting" in my survival job resume?

I feel embarrassed for asking this, but should I be listing "acting" in my survival job resume? On one hand, I'm guessing it should be good to let future employers know that I'm pursuing acting. Up to this point I've been holding down one part-time job, so I...

    Can I compete?

I am a part-time actor with a day job/career. Can I realistically compete with an actor who is a full-time actor, that has gone to a prestigious acting school, is training everyday, lives in LA, has his materials (HS, Demo reel, Resume) on lock, has an Agent...
